I visited Guitar Center recently with some band mates to get a cleaning & re-stringing done on a guitar, and test out amps & pedals. Staff is incredibly friendly and is always happy to answer questions and recommend products. The location always has some sort of sale going on, and prices are generally pretty good. They accept trade-ins as well! The best part about it is being able to test the gear in person before you buy so you can be confident in your purchase, and the staff will always help you in choosing what's best for you. -Zack

I visited guitar center recently to pick up a mic for my home studio. This location isn't too large but I'm pretty sure you will find something that interests you with all the gear they have as well as pre owned items you get bit of a discount on. I waited for help as I looked through the display of mics they had not noticing the vast options they had behind the counter as well. I played some notes on the a keyboard in the back until help arrived. The salesman Daniel helped me decide on a mic that was in my budget that will kind of give me the results I need. I will visit again a very polite sales team and all the gear I could ever need.

These guys in Johnson City are awesome.Ive done alot of business here and have always been blessed with helpful greetings,expert advice and great care of my equipment as well as a huge inventory to browse through and the guys here are more than fun and helpful.This crew keeps getting better everytime I'm there.Thanks guys!I once purchased an inexpensive ukulele for my daughter and was still treated like the biggest customer of the day.Great shop!

Guitar centers are usually an otherworldly experience for me, and this one was no different. The massive amount of instruments and gear set up for public testing is wonderful, one could easily spend hours in there and never got bored. I've always had a great experience with the staff as well, being very friendly and helpful if I need it. Nice work 👍

Horrible. Waited forever to buy 1 ukulele. Dude left to get the bag and took the longest time to come back. Debated just leaving without making the purchase. Didnt even have the bag when he came back.
